Repetier Server and Klipper

Sorry if my question is stupid but I need to clarify some things.

For my printer to run Klipper do I need to install a Klipper firmware on my printer board, then a Raspberry with Klipper and Mainsail and then another Raspberry with Repetier Server? or can Repetier Server replace Mainsail?

     Repetier-Server is replacement for mainsail. We currently can only talk to klipper directly so no mainsail please. You install klipper from server directly, define config and compile firmware for board inside server as well and depending on board can install firmware directly or download it to upload it as supposed for your board.
