Thanks, network stuff is not my strong suit, but rule for port 3344 in and out-going for private network did the trick.Issue closed.

Ok, thanks for your hint how to test the connection manually. It seems that I can http but not wget into my other server....Disabling the local firewall on the "guest" server did the trick. Can you tell me the parameters of the firewall rule (windo…

Sorry, my description is unclear...It is independent of the firmware I guess.Go to "Global settings" > "Connectivity". Assuming you have an Alternative Server configured, click on edit and apply changes (no actual changes required), it then says …

cbusillo: I totally agree with you. This has been my setup for months now and I am still quite happy. I use a RPi3 with 2 printers and 2 Logitech webcams attached. The video streams are a bit laggy at times but that does not bother me. (While contro…

Yeah, the subfolder topic leads me to another "idea" (rather a paradigm shift): groups are nice, but somehow limited. A hierachy would be more suitable in some cases which I fake by using seperator like / or > , only downside to this approach is …

Whitelist sounds like the way to go. I guess subfolders would need to be "blacklisted" as well. About ideas: maybe it's too much overhead for you, but there are nice tools to "manage" feature requests, contributed by you or by your customers. Person…

Hmmm. you are right. Don't clutter the GUI too much. It's just that I found myself clicking opening the accordion to switch to 2nd extruder. But that can be done in the Control tab....so that's fine I guess.
-
Maybe include a dropdown in the extruder control if there is more than one extruder defined..
-
I forgot to mention that I am referring to the TouchGUI.

Indeed. But there is one essential key missing: minus (mainly, if not exclusively for correcting probe height....)Then I stop complaining |)
-
I was afraid so. Unlucky.
-
That's ingenious! Gonna have to try that. You really did think about everything >-

One minor issue : spacebar is missing

M350 only sets the microstepping mode but how to do I actually babystep an axis during a print? Could not find any gcode doing that....

Wow, that was quick. Thanks a lot. Missed it in the changelog 80.2 and found it by accident. Much appreciated and well done!

Surely, if networking is possible with octoprint, you can do it with repetier server (using socat) as well. Check http://smoothieware.org/octoprint for details. Please post if it works, thx

Just installed 0.80.1 on all servers and problem is fixed. Thanks!

Stumbled upon my own post ;-) Still looking for an answer...

Perfect. Thanks a lot.

I have a similar issue after updating my raspi2 to 0.80:Repetier server requires reboot after every print, otherwise upon starting the next print, it would halt after auto-bed leveling procedure.

Go to https://www.repetier-server.com/download-repetier-server/ copy link of download and replace NewRepetierServerVersion.deb in sudo dpkg -i NewRepetierServerVersion.deb with Link eg. http://download.repetier.com/files/server/debian-armel/Repetier…

If using Jessie, put this in Global Settings / Timelapse / FFMPEG Path: /usr/bin/avconv Works like a charm, including watermark. Thanks repetier, great job (again)

OK, I figured it out myself. It turned out I had the Z_PROBE_ON_HIGH the wrong way round, which is what the error above suggested but I did not check. The reason I did not check is that I have the same type of sensor wired as endstops and the value …

Same here. "Powercfg -lastwake" and "Powercfg -waketimers" both pointed to the RepetierServer service. Windows 8.1 x64

After upgrading to Jessie, I found out that there is no ffmpeg available. Instead, one is advised to use libav (https://wiki.debian.org/ffmpeg). It is stated on the website:If you want to use ffmpeg, you will need to change the word "avconv" to "ffm…

Counting the numerous questions about correct setup of Autoleveling with Repetier, it seems to me that this is the number 1 reason to go (back) to Marlin firmware. Unfortunately, with RADDS / DUE board, there is no current version of Marlin firmware…

I want to use a similar LCD model Reprap discount 12684. Would you mind sharing your pinout with me? Or are the ones you posted at the beginning the ones that worked for you? Also, is USB power sufficient for the display or is an externa 12Vl sourc…
