Raspberry Pi 3 - armhf or armel?

Hi there!

Im not so much into the details so what version to use with the new Raspberry Pi 3 that just arrived - armhf or armel?

    Since Pi 2 was already armhf compatible I'd try armhf. We are still waiting for it to arive:-(

    what is the answer to the 1st question?  Did your Pi3 arrive?

    Yes, I have it and both work. Armhf should be a bit faster, but armel is compiled on the pi to support all raspberry versions (including 1). Use Jessie distribution to have it working.
