No functionality possible after update Prusa i3 mk2s FIRMWARE 3.1.0

Hi,

After running the FIRMWARE 3.1.0 update repetier server is connection to my MK2S but I can't do anything. 

Error:

21:52:11.403: Error:Line Number is not Last Line Number+1, Last Line: 0
21:52:11.403: Resend: 1

Anybody got the same issues?

    Yes someone in recent posts had the same problem after firmware upgrade. Seems like the firmware does not handle M110 N1 correctly any more. We use this at different places to keep line number small reducing data transfer.

    I have stepped to octo print for now. Can I expect as paying customer a fix for this?

    For now I think it is a firmware bug since we are doing the same as before just firmware stopped accepting this. Prusa developer already commented on the bug report so I expect they will fix it soon.

    I updated to 3.1.0 and haven't had any problems. Anyone know if the error is for specific configurations? My server is on Ubuntu with the printer connected via USB.

    No special version required, but in the github issue the error is been reported as fixed. Also i did not see it in a commit it might be included in 3.1.0 now. It was not for any special version. It was just a change in N/M110 handling that caused the problems.

    So the error is fixed by repetier? Do I need to download an update?

    I think they mean that Prusa may have updated the firmware and not told anyone. If not, the github source for prusa has apparently been fixed.

    Out of curiosity, have you just downloaded the firmware in the last couple of days?

    Updared last week, will flash tonight again and keep you posted.

    I was at least talking about prusa firmware. Please have a read of the github thread for more info.

    Ran the update again but I still get the same error:

    Back to Octo again, where can I get my re-fund?

    I downgraded my firmware to the old one and will wait for the new 'fixed' update from Prusa. My printer is working fine now. This is not a Repetier problem Joerib, Prusa need to fix their firmware (well, release the fixed version).

    i have contact with one of the prusa firmware devs  and he said they are aware of the issue and he will be looking at
    it tomorrow and will sent me firmware to test

    Don't see an updated firmware so only if you use github version with their fixes instead it might work.

    I just downloaded Repetier Server for trial and ran into this problem on my Prusa i3Mk2. 
    Assessing if Repetier is a step up from Octoprint mainly for multiple printer management.

    So, looks like we have to wait.

    I ran into the same issue. I have an MK2 upgraded to the MK2s, I have an MK2s, and an MK3. The MK3 connects just fine. The other two, however, was having the issue described. It turns out the the 3.1.0 version of the firmware doesn't handle the M110 command correctly causing the issue. I spent the better part of the day doing all the research. I have discovered that the fix has been merged into the Prusa firmware, but it is not yet available for the MK2(s). So I found all of the information necessary to compile my own version of the firmware with the fix in. I used Repetier Server to upload the new firmware and Viola! I am up and running. I love this print farm software.
