Serial Connection

I have a K8200 I'm trying to connect and when I go to printer settings, it doesn't connect. I read all the information and it says to hit refresh ports, but when I I look at it there's no refresh ports button. I am using Windows 7 I Have downloaded older and newer versions and neither one of them have the refresh button. If you could tell me what I need to do to connect the printer. I used use my Mac but now I'm using El Capitan and it will not connect at all. So Windows 7 should connect but I have no connection whatsoever.

    Did you install windows serial driver for your printer?
    If it is in a virtual machine of your mac, you need to assign printer usb to your virtual machine.

    We have no refresh button any more. We refresh every few seconds so list is always up to date.
