Repetier Host won't load

I am running Windows 7, when I attempt to start Reptetier, it won't load.  I get an error stating that "RepetierHost has stopped working".  I have uninstalled and reinstalled a couple of times with no success.  I also restarted in SafeMode, I was able to get the program to run at that point without issue.

I have the same laptop as a co-worker who had no issues.  I am assuming it is a software issue, but I haven't yet figured out what the problem might be.  I have tried to uninstall/disable a few possibilities but have not had any luck.  Any suggestions?

    Check windows events to see why it stops working (as it never started),
    run 
    sfc /scannow
    as admin to verify windows has no defect dlls and make sure to have .NET installed.
