Erase eeprom

Are there a way to totally erase the eeprom?

don't answer with a q on why, i just want to do it

sorry but very frustrated... the only way i know is M500 and M502

    I guess avrdude may provide that. Also ISP programmers have an option for full erase eeprom. Firmware never does. At maximum when EEPROM_MODE is changed it recopies config values but does no real full erase.
