Modification of x axis

I have a Printbot Simple Mod. 1405 (the wooden model), that had a bed 100 x 100mm. I purchased a heated bed upgrade, that had a bes 150 x 150 mm, I modified the bed to travel 150mm in the x axis, leaving the y at 100mm.
I changed the values in Repetier, but the print area remained at 100 x 100mm. Is there anything that ca be done?
