Disable local GUI on Tochscreen temporarily

Hi,
after an apt dist-upgrade my raspberry lost its network config, so I cannot access config by SSH.

As it has a touchscreen attached, it boots into Repetier GUI and I could not find out, how to disable this GUI in order to start a terminal session on the touchscreen to fix network.

I tried commenting out "chromium-browser --noerrdialogs...." from “/home/pi/.config/openbox/autostart", but then the screen remains blank.

  • You mean you upgraded to Bullseye? Most likely several parts like webcam will not work any more. One reason we set up the server image from scratch, so in the end you should upgrade to our latest bullseye image.

At least on current image Ctrl+Alt+T opens a terminal on screen.

As with all linux systems Ctrl+Alt+F1-F7 switches between virtual consoles. F1 is invisible and F3 or F7 are graphic console. But others should show a regular terminal.
  • Tried Alt+Fxx but not Ctrl+Alt+Fxx ..... Sorry.
  • Network-Problem came from update to bullseye, so lot's of doku to fix. Thanks again.
