Endstops ignored without config change

Hi,

I was recently at a seminar with printer and all worked well. Now that I come home and fire the printer up the carriages slam into the endstops and I get "Pause requested: Homing failed". I checked all stops with m119 and the trigger correctly, continuity is there so the cables seem to be ok. I switched the endstop plugs around and got the slaming in on other axis.

I never had trouble with endstop so Im not familar with the lesser known errors. Any ideas what could interfere here?

    never mind someone had swapped the motor cables. i was to concentrated on the endstops
