  • many thanks RAyWB.. I was unfamiliar about 24v supply for ramps.
    I have fan0 pin free can i use that for spindle 0-10v output by using external module like they do ?-


    I have 3d printer. So not using this machine as 3d printer. it also running repetier fw.
  • sorry, not familiar with that but fan0 pin at ramps is open drain , so not useful for this setup.
    Picture shows an additional card with connection to a digital pin and last but not least pwm spindle control is not implemented in repetier firmware out of the box, so you have to do this part on your own

    Hello,
    When i command G1 X50 Y50 F500 result is -
    sometime it moves fast(as it should be)
    When command is G1 Y50 F500
    Mostly it moves very slow and low distance(Not even a full revolution of motor)
    sometime it just makes sound, no move(specially when operated from graphic controller).
    firmware is 1.0.x

    check all movement settings , f.e. steps/mm, acceleration settings etc.
    just making sound might be too low motor current or/and acceleration settings too high

    is the machine rod drive or belt driven?

    especially rod driven machine needs low acceleration , f.e. 100mm/s²
    alternatively share your configuration.h

    I was out for some agriculture work(small farmer).
    As per above, configuration is set resulting in -

    1)command G1 X50 Y50 F500(and G1 X50 Y50)
        no move, only sound.

    2)command M119-
