10" hdmi/usb touch screen for printer frontend with Raspberry PI

  Which interface do you want to use? Guess the special touch interface. It will work with any display that pi supports, also it was designed to work also with smaller displays so bigger displays the gain of informations is not that big. If you have no users defined you can test how it looks on any computer

  In browser debugger you can activate touch screen mode and set resolution to get a preview.
  
  I normally use the 7" display which is where you already see all infos activated. Advantages of bigger displays are:
  - gcode infors have more space
  - All icons directly visible

  I was hoping for hdmi/usb connection since the raspberry pi is placed a bit away from where the display would be. But I might be able to switch it around and place the pi on the back of a display. I do have the offisial 7" display, but it does not have a very long cable. Might be able to have a round cable soldered to the flat one, or get an adapter?

  The flat cables are standard hardware. You can get them in various length, but I can not say if signals are good enough for different length. Have mine directly mounted to pi like it was planned. I have  a long cable for pi webcam and it works, but these are of course different things.
