When I
select SD card  <click>
select Print file <click>
The first file displayed is "System Volume Information" followed by the rest of the files on the SD Card.

Is there a way to suppress  "System Volume Information" from being displayed?

    Not if it is a regular file. You can of course hack the code and skip that file name but that takes time and eventually ram which is limited at least for the 8 bit boards.
