Support for hanging parts.

Hi, I m a newbie and not much aquatinted to this software yet. While I tried to print a design with a part protruding outside and hanging, it just moved downwards from their original position and the print was wasted. I want to know how to add support to the hanging parts in cura engine of repetier host. I am using the freely downloadable latest version of the software.

    In the right window of CuraEngine select Supper everywhere and then slice. Then it will add support structures where overhang is greater your treshhold. Maybe you want to change the support settings first. If grid is too coarse it will not hang. Also check you z gap. If it is too small you can not remove support easily, if it is too high, it will drop down.
