z axis not homing

i am using a repetier firmware and a repetier controller host for my printer. When i home each axis individually the x and the y axis seems to be working perfectly but when it comes to z axis. It moves for a certain time and wont home at all..Please help me

    If it moves for a time it is working. By default it moves for 2*height but if e.g. steps per mm is too low this might stop before hitting end stop. So test if a 10mm up move goes up 10mm. And check what the set z length in eeprom is.
