Turning My 3d printer into a laser engraver, works fine, but I cant engrave slower than 300 mm/m.

recently I added a laser module on my 3d printer, so that i can both 3d print and engrave. But my laser is pretty weak, it can barely cut paper. To cut paper, i have to generate a gcode with really slow laser speed around 50mm/m , but the repetier software ignores it. I knows there is a limit to how slow you can go, but i dont know how to change it, i searched through google to find a solution. Im a Noob and i wish someone could show me a step by step process on how to change the slowest travel limit. Thank you.

  • Min speed depends on acceleration, so reduce travel and print acceleration and min speed gets reduced as well.
