connection issues (again)

I recently received a  QU-BD Oneup 3d printerand assembled it.
When I go to connect it to repetier host it tells me that COM1 does not exist. When I go into devices and printers to get the port number it says it is on Port_#0002.Hub_#0003. plugging that into repetier tells me me "The given port name does not start with com/Com or does not resolve to a valid serial port."
Any ideas on how I can fix this?

OS windows 7 64bit home edition
running on an acer aspire 4743

I have reinstalled the oneup drivers and am still having this issue

  • All windows ports start with COM + number. The port list shows all currently available ports. If there is none, you might need to install a special com driver for that printer. Only devices shown in serial ports without errors in hardware manager work.
