Homing Failure

There is an issue with my printer during the homing phase. The printer correctly activates the endstops, stops the motors, and begins the back off. During the back off however, the motor does not back the carriage completely off the endstop. I have a he3d delta and the programming was preloaded onto the board, which seems to be some chinese version of ramps. Is there anyway I can adjust the back off distance within the host interface or how should I go about fixing this?

  • Might depend on the firmware you use.

In repetier-firmware you can change that distance but it is hardcoded in firmware configuration.h so you would need to recompile it. Not sure how this is handled in other firmwares.
