Laser blinks (when using heater on the same pin)

When you are in laser modus and you use the same pin for the extruder (hotend) for the laser pin. It will toggle it directly low. I guess it has something to do with the temperature loop.

  • Exactly and that is not planned. Laser pin must be independent of any other pins used.
  • Ok , it got me some time to figure it out that you can't use the same pin. In my configuration I use a buck converter to limit current to 3 amps, perfect to swap it with a laser. But I guess it's not possible (yet). Yet it's not a real bug but just some warning for future users.
  • I have laser machine controlled by MKS mini v1.3 board (RAMPS 1.3 compatible).
MKSmini board has not any "unused" pins.
But in my case there is no extruders, fans, bed etc.
Is this posible to use for laser control one of the folowing pins:
    ORIG_FAN_PIN            9
    HEATER_0_PIN       10
    HEATER_1_PIN       8
    ?
