"Your printer requested a pause" during homing

During I manually perform a "homing" click, Repetier-Host pops out a Window "Your printer requested a pause" and message in log "RequestPause:Homing failed!". I can see the printer has not complete the homing action. I search same question in the fourm but I can't find the asnwer. Someone say it's caused by incorrect setting on endstop and I tried many different setting but still has problem. Why?

The pause request is new - it is intended to protect your printer since starting a print after failed homing will normally do bed things.

So fix the homing problem - what it is should be obvious from log. Most probably wrong endstop definition or printer length too short so homing does not reach endstops at all.
