Massportal Connection to Repetier Host

Hi everyone

I am desperately trying to connect my printer to Repetier host.

Printer: Massportal Pharaoh XD20

PC: Windows 10

Printing Software: Repetier Host v2.1.6

Repetier Host Printer Settings:

Serial connection COM1 (USB Connection)

Baudrate 115200

Transferprotocoll ASCII

RTS: High

DTR: Low

Receiver Cage 127

Com Timeout: 40

With these settings, the Repetier host connects to the printer but would still not allow me to operate it.

Repetier host gives the following Log messages:

Any input welcome.

Please enable ACK/commands as well if you show connection log. Without it, it is not possible to see what is happening. You might want to switch RTS/DTR - some boards need a special combination to communicate. But from the log it looks that both directions already got used.

Good day, I may have to add that the usb cable I am using is about 5m long. Could that be an issue.

Does Massportal say you can connect host to usb? I see they have a touch display and I' quite sure they communicate them self with the firmware. And especially with older firmware versions only one host can communicate correctly with firmware. I think they still use due based boards so have 2 usb connections and if touch display communicates already that brings confusion into it. Your com settings are correct as it seems just some answers make no sense if everything comes from host. Maybe there is an option in touch display to make it stop communicating so you can use the other usb port without interference.
