Retract on layer change

I'm using Repetier Host on a macOS Mojave and am unable to select the retract on layer change option for my extruder for Slic3r. This leaves me with an undesirable print.

Any suggestions?

Never mind. Printer was off. I was able to select that option after turning the printer on.
