dot_bob A friend and I are working on a program to perform velocity painting. When I load the g-code file he have prepared for velocity painting on repetier server I am just get a large grey box for the preview and unable to send it to printer. The g-code works fine when printing from SD and octoprint. Is there another way to have repetier server send it to the printer? A link to g-code that doesn't work: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B1DusAxeMw1TSXV6am96SnMxTUUThanks,Rob
Repetier What is velocity painting? We interpret gcode so it must be parsable with the server parser. Cam not read it here to check so i check it next week.
MartinH Thats strange. If you try to upload the code direct to server, it says it has 0 layers and use 0 fillament. If you load the code into host then save to server, it works ok (apart from a couple unknown commands at start)
dot_bob Velocity painting is changing the print surface texture and possibly the color by modifying the printing velocity or speed. There is a discussion and examples about it here: https://forum.simplify3d.com/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=6832 and here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6qYY2SrTM_MThe code I attached was sliced for the Original Prusa I3 MK2.
