beikeland Is there a G-code to achieve the same as going to the menu and setting Z=0?G92 gets reset by G28 so won't work. Auto probing doesn't seem to give great results so it would be handy to have a shortcut to that function while I try to get the mechanics up to snuff so auto probing can do its job.
Repetier I don't think there is a gcode for it. This is only used for autoleveling manually and should not be used in normal operation. Also G28 will void it as well.
beikeland Was thinking to use it for manually adjusting yeah, its basically the only reason I see for keeping the LCD panel mounted on the printer; everything else I want to do I seem to be able to do on a tablet via wifi and repeteir server on a Pi.
Repetier All it does is changing z length in eeprom by the current z value. So that can also be done in server. Have to think where in gcode it would match under which conditions.
