I was afraid of that. I really didn't want to reinstall Repetier image as my Pi is enclosed in my Ender 5+ housing (replaced my Ender 5+ LCD with a Pi screen).

I did update Python and when I run python --version it says 3.11.8. I also updated the python3 version.

Was this supposed to be done somewhere other than /usr/bin?

Ok I did not want to do this, but I am installing a new image. Luckily I have spare SD cards so I can just set the existing one to the side. I backed up my printer configs. I'll let you know how it goes.

You can also put old sd card on usb sd card reader to copy /var/lib/Repetier-Server and /opt/klipper to start with old settings, also you still need to reinstall klipper so automatic start scripts get installed as well.

I keep getting flash failed on multiple SD cards with the latest download. I flashed Fluidd just fine with this card reader yesterday. I am proceeding anyway since it is just a validation, but it does worry me a little.

This is why I hate using a new image. I cannot use my mouse on this as it is not visible and I have to click around to see where it is. The touchscreen does not work. I cannot connect to my home wifi even though I chose the SSIS and put the correct password. I cannot access the AP it is broadcasting (RepetierServer) because the 12345678 password does not work.

Took me a good hour to get the wifi working. Finally had to edit the network config file and tell it no authentication. Now to get through the rest of this lol.

Ok now the only think is the touch screen. I enabled it in repetier-setup but it does not work. Only once did the calibration screen show up but no points showing me where to touch. If I slap the other SD card back in the touch screen works. So I know it is not a hardware issue.

Any advice for this?

In the mean time, I am installing klipper and restoring my printer from back. I will try to get image scaler working.

I just don't think it is seeing my USB adxl345.

Still cannot get the touchscreen to work.

Ok I am going to try V36 tomorrow. Not sure if something is just flaky with V37 since it is set up for the Pi 5. Hoping that's all it is. I put my old SD card back in and am up and running again, just cannot run image shaper to get the settings. I got the settings from Fluidd and put those in my config but I am not 100% sure if image shaper correctly installed everything and if that matters while printing.

But to sum up, the adxl345 is still not working on the new version still and I have no touch screen. I also could not putty into it. There was a certificate error that I've never gotten before with your images. I do hope to get it running because my old image has the incognito browser window every time I power up the Pi. I have to go to console and do a sudo reboot to get to the Repetier screen. Just rebooting from the gui menu does not fix it.

I thought the input calibration was fixed in the image already. Seems I have it only for next image release coming soon.
In repetier-setup there is also a show cursor option to use mouse so you see it.

Can't say why checksum mismatches. Must be a higher sector that is not used in fluidd image.

Regarding error messages after running input shaper, they appear if the files
/tmp/calibration_data_x_data.csv
/tmp/calibration_data_y_data.csv
do not exist. The should get created by running klipper command
SHAPER_CALIBRATE AXIS=X NAME=data + some options for freq range, hz

You can send it manually in console and see what goes wrong on klipper side that the file does not exist afterwards. It stores result in /tmp according to klipper docs.

Ok I loaded V36 with no validation errors after flashing the SD card. Set my wifi up in the wpa suplicant file and it connected. So far so good. I had issues with touch still but found on an octoprint forum that I needed to com ment out dtoverlay=vc4-kms-v3d.

I will work on Klipper now :)

update on input shaper. I ran the comment "TEST_RESONANCES AXIS=X" just to see if the eccelerometer works in Repetier and my results are below. I am not sure how Repetier recognized my USB adxl345 or if there is a way for my to specify it somewhere. running acclerometer_query also does the same thing.

It looks like the rpi/klipper_host_mcu adxl345 is only the on board pins on the Pi. So this USB adxl345 seems to be either something different in the rpi/klipper_host_mcu or the pins are not accepted by either Klipper or Repetier when assigning the mcu to the /dev/serial/by-id/usb-Klipper_rp2040_455035712911B2C8-if00 and specifying cs_pin gpio9.

Is there another way of identifying it since it is a USB device?

I GOT iT! The pins I had in the original post were correct. I flashed the adxl345 on my other Pi with a different version of Klipper. I finally found an error message I could use lol. I created a new file for the adxl345 ad flashed it from Repetier and it works! I did not realize the adxl345 needed the same version.
