  • Ok thanks again :-)
  • Thanks Repetier, yes it seems that's the problem. Just been back and modelled tests with an origin of zero, zero in the CAD drawing and the co-ordinates are indeed carried over to Repetier Host when importing. Is there anyway around this? It seems s…
  • Removing the offsets has helped. The print is now in the same position as the slicing which is a great start! My issue is still remaining with the positioning co-ordinates. In the host once an object is imported clicking on the "move object" icon, br…
  • Sorry it doesn't seem possible to paste the screenshot so will try and list out what I'm seeing below.Host Settings:X min 0 X Max 700Y min 0 Y Max 500Print Width 700Print Depth 500Print Height 257 Slic3r Settings: X = 700, Y= 500.When centred in the…
  • Hi Repetier, Thanks for your replies above. Its taken a little longer than anticipated to sort out a few other bits!I've adjusted the print area to reflect that available to both extruders and machine is working perfectly remaining within the print …
  • All now working thank you
  • Thank you for the reply, It is the print cooling fan that is shared. The extruders are individually cooled above the hot ends and set to run whenever the hot end temperature is above 35degrees. Do I need to add this comment in directly to INO …
  • Thank you for the reply. I'll reduce the bed size down to reflect the area usable for both extruded and see what effect that has. The positioning error seems to be in the host in that if I place an object on the bed using the center command on the …
  • Further to the above - it seems the post didn't like my screen shot!Printer settings in Repetier Host are as follows:X min: 0, X max: 850, Bed left:0,Y min: 0, Y max: 500, Bed front -15Print area,Width: 850Depth:600
  • It works thank you :-)
  • Further to the above this is the HAL.h line that is failing. #define _READ(pin) (DIO ##  pin ## _PORT->PIO_PDSR & DIO ##  pin ## _PIN ? 1 : 0) // does return 0 or pin valueand this the error message. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?!Arduino: 1…
  • Thanks again, I'm getting an error during compiling when setting up the second Z axis home switch. 'DIOZ2_MINMAX_PIN_PORT' was not declared in this scope It appears under the HAL.h tab Is there an additional setting I'm missing?
  • As a separate solution is it possible to write a custom "homing" script? Either as a seperate macro or by editing the existing g-code? Thank you for your help :-)
  • Ok thanks, so homing always has to be done against an end stop at one limit of travel? Can probing be used to set Z zero position? Or is this purely a setup function to be used independent of homing at the start of print?
  • Repetier, thank you for the second Z home switch addition in development file Setup is almost perfect with homing positive to level the two sides and probing negative. As my Z travel is fairly large (750mm) I was wondering if it is possible to ha…
