Z height problem after autolevel on Delta.

I've been struggling with the following problem for a few weeks now.  Tried resolving it through another thread but have not managed to find a solution yet.
I have a custom made Delta printer, loosely based on a Kossel mini running on Arduino / RAMPS 1.4.  This is my 3rd Delta but the first one using Repetier firmware.
I have a Z-probe-height of 1.82mm set in the EEPROM.
When I run the G32 S2 command everything looks correct.  I get a Z home value of 362.88mm.
If I manually send the printer to coordinates 0,0,0 it travels to the center of the bed and just touches the surface.
However, whenever try to print something, the first layer is deposited in midair, about 2-3mm above the bed.
I had this problem a while back, went through the recalibration process and worked out a new Z-probe height offset (which changed by 0.06mm) and it started working correctly for a while but after a couple of weeks of not using the printer, the problem has now reappeared.
Any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Lapo
