Slow in some moves

Hi repetier,

my friend use my modified repetier firmware and have this problem.
it seems slow in some moves as in this video

In the video there are several times it moves slow.
1. first few seconds when draw curve
2. when he play the UI

is this GCODE, firmware problem or hardware problem?

    I only see start of video but download never finishes.

    That display takes 0.1s for update screen which is very long. Scrolling through menus causes more frequent updates and can block a printer complete, so that is surely an issue.

    At beginning the path planner is empty so end of move is forced to start speed going up/down with speed until buffer is filled. That is normal.

    Hope he uses 32bit board to have enough ram to buffer and do all the computations as that can also cause stalls. Your SCARA computations are surely not that fast as cartesian and high update frequencies can make it even worse, so adjust settings to work with available cpu power.
