Reprap Discount Smart Controller LCD Issue

When I upload my code to RAMPS 1.4 with Reprap Discount Smart Controller, the screen powers on but gives bars in second and fourth rows and blank in first and third. I will attach photo. When I upload Marlin, the display works fine. Any suggestions?

    You have selected #define FEATURE_CONTROLLER 11
this is for the full graphic display

    you need  #define FEATURE_CONTROLLER 2
which is for the alpha numeric  'smartcontroller from reprapdiscount'

  • Thanks for the quick and clear response. That simple fix worked.
